Maura Kutner Walters is an award-winning journalist based in New York City who has written for Conde Nast Traveler, Bloomberg Pursuits, Wall Street Journal Magazine and several other publications and websites (more on that here). Currently, she is a writer and editor at New York Magazine's The Cut.
Maura has held features editor roles at Town & Country and Harper's Bazaar (where she also spent two years editing a book about the magazine's most iconic models) and was the deputy editor of New York Magazine's special issues. On the digital side, she was the executive editor of cntraveler.com (under her editorship, the website was nominated for 3 Webby Awards and received the Biggest Growth in Digital award from Conde Nast) and the web editor of Seventeen, where she grew the audience by over a million unique visitors in a one-year period. Walters has a B.A. in journalism from Lehigh University, and writes about fashion, beauty, travel and the occasional YouTube sensation. She has never met a leopard print she didn't like (more on that here).
